1. Bij de eerste vermelding van een data punt gebruik je eventueel een alternatieve naam, de DOV naam inclusief de unieke DOV-URL naar de datafiche en de BGD naam van het object; vb:
   1. Boring B/1-1117a (BGD 046W0389)
   2. Boring B/1-1117a (als BGDnr niet beschikbaar is)
   3. Boring Meerhout (DOV B/1-1117a, BGD 046W0389)
2. Verder in de tekst gebruik je de DOV naam of de alternatieve naam
3. In het bijschrift van de figuur zal minstens de DOV naam en de URL gebruikt worden.
4. Bij het refereren van meer dan 10 datapunten in de publicatie wordt een gecompileerde tabel opgenomen waarin de lezer de data kan terugvinden gebaseerd op locatie, inclusief de referentie cfr. 1.

Indien er datapunten ontbreken in DOV, gelieve meldpunt@dov.vlaanderen.be te contacteren om te bekijken of de data in aanmerking komt om toegevoegd te worden.

1. First use of a data point in the text: if desired use an alternative name and include the DOV name including the unique DOV-URL and GSB name(s) of the objects if available, for example:
   1. Boring B/1-1117a (GSB 046W0389)
   2. Boring B/1-1117a (in case of no GSB-nr)
   3. Boring Meerhout (DOV B/1-1117a, GSB 046W0389)
2. Further along in the text, the alternative name can be used.
3. Figures should at least contain or mention in the caption the reference to the DOV name including the link.
4. The manuscript will have a compilation table in which a reader can find the data based on location, including the references cfr 1.

If any data points are missing in DOV, please contact meldpunt@dov.vlaanderen.be to see whether they are suited for adding to the database.

When referring to a description of interpretation of DOV, include the name of the author and the date of interpretation in the text. Also include the reference to the DOV datapoint in the references.f.e.:

• Example of a reference in a publication

“The Member of Ursel from the Formation of Maldegem is in this location 7m thick (Vergauwen, 2003)….”
